AI changes the tasks inside a job.

A job bundles different kinds of work. Imagine a developer building a canteen app: writing software, understanding customers and deciding what the kitchen can promise all belong to the same job. Coding could initially seem like its difficult part.

Agents can now handle substantial parts of implementation. As producing code becomes easier, the developer’s contribution depends more on understanding which problem to solve and judging the result. Getting an honest account from customers and staff still takes access, trust and good questions.

The job gets rebundled. You are still a developer, with more product responsibilities. Record a conversation in Rehearsal, ask AI to draft requirements from the transcript, review them and pass them to a coding agent. This connects the production steps; you remain responsible for collecting useful context and deciding what should change.
